Every Private Business Corporation (PBC) in Zimbabwe must file a declaration of continuance of operation at the Companies Registry at least once a year.
The declaration must be filed to confirm that an annual general meeting was held in accordance to the Companies and Other Business Entities Act (Chapter 24:32).
Companies provide a declaration of business continuance preparation and filing service, which will ensure you keep your company legal and compliant. While there are no automatic financial penalties for non compliance, the Companies Registry may initiate proceedings against the Directors or strike your Private Business Corporation off.
