Procedure for company registration

First of all choose a company structure that suits your needs between a Private Limited Company (PLC), a Private Business Corporation (PBC) and a Company Limited by Guarantee.

A PLC is registered for the purpose of making a profit, and has the added benefit of limited liability protection of personal assets. PBC’s are ideal for small businesses, professionals and consultants who wish to retain the flexibility of a traditional partnership, but require the benefits of a Private Limited Company (PLC). A Company Limited by Guarantee is very much like a standard Private Limited Company; however, instead of shareholders, it has guarantors. This type of company is normally registered by non-profit organisations such as clubs and charities.

You will then be required to complete our company registration form online or alternatively visit our offices. This should take no longer than 5 minutes. You will need to provide the details of your registered office and the company director(s) and shareholder(s). Make a payment through our many payment platforms. Immediately upon making payment we will send communicate confirming your payment, a receipted invoice and company documents for signing.

We will prepare the company documents and lodge with the Companies Registry.

Usually within 7 to 9 working days (this is dependent on Companies Registry workload, and therefore it may take longer), your company will be registered. We will inform you as soon as the company documents are out.
